Roberta has worked as a clinical psychologist for about 10 years, primarily in private psychology clinics. Before becoming a clinical psychologist, she spent several years abroad working as a social worker and teaching at universities. As well as completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, she also has a Master’s degree in Buddhist Studies which she undertook whilst living in Thailand.
She is very interested in the impact of mindfulness and meditation on stress on well-being, and has presented her research and findings at international conferences. She has a special interest in the impact of narcissistic abuse, and has produced a short documentary film on this topic. She is also passionate about women’s well-being and empowerment and has facilitated workshops on this topic.
Roberta is a warm, engaging and non-judgmental clinical psychologist, and is very passionate about improving the well-being and growth of her clients. She has a holistic and empowering approach to therapy that will help you better cope with challenging life situations and reach your potential.
Her key therapy skills include anxiety, stress and depression treatment, building a positive self-image and treating low self-esteem and coping with separation and relationship difficulties.
